Pier or pile systems can transfer loads through installed supports. Materials and installation approaches vary, and a product name alone does not establish suitability.

Some repairs include controlled lifting or adjustment. The appropriate amount of correction depends on the structure and repair objective.
Structural component repair
Pier-and-beam structures may need repairs to beams, joists, shims, supports, or other accessible components when deterioration or inadequate support contributes to the problem.
Drainage and moisture work
Drainage improvements can be part of a broader plan when water movement affects soil conditions. Drainage work is not a substitute for structural repair when structural repair is actually needed.
